Victoria Carpets

   Victoria Carpets is one of the oldest British carpet manufacturers, being founded in 1895 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland. At the beginning, Victoria Carpets were a tapestry and printing company, operating from a small premises on Victoria Street, hence the name. As the business grew, Victoria Carpets’ owners decided to relocate to Kidderminster, Worcestershire.  The story goes that some of the existing Victoria Carpets’ employees actually walked the distance from Kirkcaldy to Kidderminster, to keep their job. This kind of loyalty allowed Victoria Carpets to become one of the largest carpet manufacturers in the world.   

   Today, Victoria Carpets manufacture all types and qualities of tufted carpets using wool, wool blend and man-made yarns. Furthermore, Victoria Carpets is one of the few carpet manufacturers that still produce Wilton carpets.
