Ulster Carpets

   Ulster Carpets has been founded in 1939 by George Walter Wilson. The company is based in Northern Ireland, in the same place where it all started. All Ulster carpets are manufactured using the Psylo method which is the most technologically advanced technique of weaving carpets. The Psylo technique has been pioneered by Ulster Carpets. In recognition of their merits, Ulster Carpets have received the “Queens Award for Enterprise”.

   All Ulster carpets are manufactured using yarn spun in their own spinning plant based in Dewsbury. This allows Ulster Carpets to have total control over the quality of the yarn that goes into their products. To ensure that every woven carpet that leaves their yard is perfect, Ulster quadruple shear and triple check every square metre of carpet they manufacture.
